Monetizing twitter?
Glam launched a widget on its home page that let users tweet their thoughts about the Oscars. But Glam’s stream is different from a standard Twitter stream (#Oscars) because Glam edits it. Glam’s entertainment editors decide which users are allowed to tweet in the stream and culls those who post what it feels are inappropriate comments. This way, Glam says, advertisers can get comfortable with the conversation. As a result, Glam has been able to sell sponsorship of the Oscars widget to Aveeno, a woman’s beauty brand.

While Time magazine and others claim the answer lies in asking readers to pay in small increments, that model will only hasten newspapers' death spiral. Instead, consider what may prove to be the solution: a California start-up called Kachingle.

Picture production example
Hey gang;
Just wanted to share this piece of entertainment production. I like how it goes full screen after a click on a thumbnail ( and then you can choose to downsize it) and you control the length of time spent on each picture (no flash) during a cappella audio. It gave context (instead of drop down text) that was simple but effective. Fab pics too.
